Got my ECG Echo test results back

ecg and ekg are the same, used interchangeably.

But remember, it is only a test of PAST occurrences, not any indicator of future problems.

Case in point, my aunt died three days after her "perfect" ECG.

However, it is still nice to have a perfect one of those. :)

EKG and ECG are different one is electrodes on the body the other is a sonogram movie of blood flow looking for obstructions.

I am going in for one anyone know if this is the best test out there for detecting heart disease?

thanks

umm...no. you should learn what the hell you are talking about before giving advice.

EKG and ECG are the same thing. EKG is the original term which started in Europe and was called ElectroKardioGram...and ECG is just the American term...ElectroCardioGram.

you are thinking of an Echocardiogram. :chomp:
