Any milk-fans?
Do you guys drink milk after your work out?
Would you consider milk as a good source of portein after workout?

What are the pros/cons?

Personally, I think milk gets a bad rap. If you're a competitive BB'er, then you might want to stay away from milk pre-contest. Most BB'ers claim it makes them look smooth (water retention?), but unless you have less than about 6-8% BF, I doubt you'd be able to tell any difference.

Milk protein is one of the best (where do you think they get whey and casein from?). Also, lactose is not a very high GI carb, so it won’t spike your blood sugar levels too fast. As long as your body can tolerate it, I think milk is great. I always mix my post-workout protein shake with skim milk.

After a workout you would want to drink something with a high GI... to help shuttle nutrients to your muscles quicker... correct? other than that, I agree with you.

Fermented milk or fermented dairy products are way better than regular milk

less lactose
more digestible
