I like the periodization scheme where you increase weight and decrease weight week by week. If you do a search on "bench press programs" or something to that effect, you should find some good stuff. The "Critical Bench" website is pretty good.

Age: 18
Weight: 170
Height: 5'7"-5'8"
Bench: 135x10, 155x10, 185x10, 205x10, 225x6, 245x3, 265x1.......... after that go to dumbells.
Squat: 455x3(90 degree bend in legs) (no free squat machine, so Smith machine)

I like training for strenght twice per week.

One workout - heavr and basic with pryamids on the weights.

WO2 - speed training take 5-60% of your max and do speed reps do 6-8 sets o f only three reps. Focue on driving the bar with as much speed as possiblr. On the same day pick one other exercise that resembles bench like close-grip and work heavy on it.
