Good Luck!!!! You are beyond ready, ignore the naysayers you will meet. Remember to volunteer for Ranger Training as soon as you get to Airborne School. Don't hesitate to call if you need anything. Receiving mail during Basic is a motivator, so if you want some call and give me your address once you get it and I will post it here.

When parachuting, keep your feet and knees together!

I almost went Airborne last year; I have a college degree -- it actually helps w/ rank.

If I was single and had no reponsibilities other than myself, things might have been very different for me right now...

Thanks Everyone I'm talking off on Tuesday For Ft Benning GA

I'll be leaving for Baton Rouge in the morning to watch some Soccer throughout the weekend. I'll try to post a Goodbye Monday night

I wasn't making that good of Grades in School and my training will be in Communications along the same lines as what I was studying in college. I plan on finishing up my degree but will have to see how things are going once I get into the Army and get going in whatever they allow me to do.

I'm volunteering for Airborne and Ranger Training so I could be in training schools for the Next year to year/half

Funny thing is since I'm starting Basic just before Christmas I was told I would get 2 weeks leave for the Christmas Holidays go figure. Thanks for all the advice and Mentoring I've gotten from some of the senior people of the board
