last friday this good looking chick who i met through friends at a bar asks me for my number. She was totally into me she told me she wanted to get together. However there was no chance to get with her at the bar she was with to many friends and it just wasn't happening, she knew this to well.

she hasn't called whats your experiences with women asking for the digits do they wait like 2 weeks or something?

just to make this clear I'm not sweating this girl, however i usually get girls numbers as opposed to having girls ask for mine. Just wanted to hear what you all thought.

I've never understood asking for someone's # and then waiting a week or so. That's completely stupid. If you're interested in someone, act on it. Why not just be impulsive and not worry about looking "desparate" or something. If I gave someone my # and they didn't call for a week or so I'd probably not even want to talk to them.

My bf is pretty much the only guy who's ever been involved with me who pursued me first. If I'm single I'm always flat-out open that I'm into someone. Sure you get shot down sometimes, but I'd rather get shot down than sit there 6 months later "what iffing".

I'm not referring to asking for or getting Phone #'s. I was referring to the amazing amount of guys on here who proclaim to be "studs" (For lack of a batter word).

Asking for or getting a Phone # is A LONG WAYS off from having sex with a person. No offense.

At that point in time I just figured it wasn't meant to be.

Good point. I think this has happened to everyone at least once. I dont think its all that uncommon for girls to ask for a guys number. I´ve had girls ask me for my #, but most of the time if I was interested in the girl then I would just take her number. At least then you have the controll in your hands to call her or do whatever. I wouldnt want any phyco girls calling me and harrassing me.
