Shes shit. Maybe 1/4 of the people I sit down with (usually old women) take her shit as gospel. She knows dick about investments, mainly because she has all of her money in bonds and cash.

Well, I think she provides a service because unfortunately a large number of people seriously lack common sense. It probably is Money 101 and what's sad is that people don't get that from their parents or from school. One of my biggest aggravations with schools are that basic common sense living skills you need in our society (how to create a household budget, how to save, how to balance a check register, what is an IRA, what is a 401k and what do you do with it), aren't taught in public schools. I have NEVER in my entire life (since high school graduation) needed to figure the fucking area of a triangle or needed to know one hard fact about the g'damned civil war, but I use every fucking one of those money skills I just listed and the only way I learned them was by painful trial and error.

BTW, she's openly gay, it's not a secret.
