im going to have surgery this summer and i will be in the middle of a cycle....i will not be able to life at all for 3 weeks or so and when i come back i cant go very intense for a while.....my question is this should i stay on through out surgery and stay on while im recovering or stop the cycle right before surgery....im a fast healer so i hope i dont have to take 3 weeks off, dont know if i can do that mentally....would it help if i stayed on not to lose any more muscle? let me know your guys opinions. thanks

Whats surgery for? The big issue is going to make sure you eat right and mantain good amount so you don't lose muscle or worse get fat.

well i used to be fat and i have some loose skin i need to get rid of....i will have it taken off my stomach and chest.....its been 6 years since i lost the fat and the skin never tightened up no matter how much muscle i pack on.

That sucks bro. I wouldn't rush back into working out. Listen to your doctor about time off gym. I would continue cycle till then stop and stay on small dose of just test through recovery and pick back up after that. I would extend cycle slightly if you haven't been on to long. Diet has to be on point that is essential to keeping as much muscle as possiable.

I got some info for you bud. I went through what you are about to go through. I was a 300 pounder who dropped about 80 pounds very quickly. I ended up having the skin taken off and had an abdominoplasty. the main thing your going to deal with depending on how much skin is taken off are the drsains that will be in you to drain out the fluid as it accumulates. You will also most likely be wearing a lycra type suit that is suppose to help reattach the skin to your body in it's new position. This suit is worn 24 hours a day for a few weeks. I don't think your going to be wanting to be doing much of nothing for awhile. It's really easy to pull a drain. (I did it) If this happens they have to reopen you up and replace it or the fluid that accumulates will slowly pull the skin apart from the body. I would personally cut the cycle short until you can get back in the gym at 100%. The start over.

P.S. I have a scar that runs a 360 degree circle around my abdomen but I can say without a doubt that having the surgery done did loads for my self confidance. No more floppy skin at all. Just a nice tight midsection with abs. Good luck to you!

wow they never said anything to me about a suit or drain...i just know i have to go back once a week for 6 weeks for a few skin tightening treatments....anyone else have the suit or drain?

I had several drains because I lost so much weight so fast that I had to get somthing called a belt done to me. That is where they cut all the way around me in a circle to remove the fat. So my scar runs a few inches below my belly button and goes all the way around me 360 degrees. They peeled the skin up on my stomach and stitched all my abdomen muscles tighter together also. (abdominoplasty) I had 2 drains under my chest under each pec, then 2 drains coming out of one side under the oblique and one under the other oblique. I felt like some kind of "Horror movie Human Slurpy Machine".

Good advice

it depends.... what kind of surgery are you having? I had the same problem to ponder over a couple of months ago. I had a knee replacedment surgery coming up this past march. and I was at the end of a long 10 month cycle. I didn't want to stop, but I took my last shot of my long esters about 3 days before the surgery. I went through the surgery, was in the hospital for a couple of days, and couldn't move for another couple of days. so I waited about a week after my surgery to start pct, and it worked out fine. I completed a pct, and started working out naturally for about 5 weeks before I jumped back on the G-train. If you are going to be able to work out pretty soon after your surgery, then you may want to consider staying on a low dose of gear: test or anavar, for healing and recooperation purposes.

I quit all aas and hgh at least 3 months pre-surgery (general anesthesia), did not want to take a chance or have to disclose the fact. I would forget the cycle and wait until the recovery is complete before my next cycle.

I agree with this.

stop everything (including regular supps especially vit e) or risk bleeding to death plain and simple, if you are a steroid drug addict I doubt you will listen to anyone but I did my part, all the best with your surgery!

Ill second that bro....we know u wanna get back at the weights quick, but if you fuck yourself up its only gonna be worse....like he said keep your diet/protein in check and listen to the docs

You should really hold off on cycling and the gym until you are fully recoveered. its only a short time relativley speaking compared to the rest of your life to juice and train. whats the point of stating on if you cant train afterwards. all that juice will be wasted. save it and do a good cycle when you are fully recovered.
