That's beautiful man! Did you get that adjustable bench at newyorkbarbells.com? It looks like one I just ordered. How do you like it?

Thanks bro. Thanks for posting too, I`m plat but I have`nt even ventured in the posting pics dept yet. lol

I`m ALWAYS telling peeps to come over and train it`s open to all my friends and family. I don`t want the money to go to waste. lol

Unfriggenbelievable!!!!!!!

That is so sweet! I love the mirrors. Where did you get 'em and how much did they cost ya?

He-man sirens on 3 floors, motion sensors, door contacts, Central station so the cops can take care of things when I`m not home. lol

I don`t remember the adjustable bench name but it`s Super heavy duty. Not from NY barbell though. About $250. I like it and have the preacher attatchment for it.

Bulldog, These are`nt EXACT but I`ll try. You`ll get an idea

OH damn I almost forgot the POWER RACK lol $400 with cut smaller for my basement height. I think that`s it. whew.

Oh and another thing... SNOWING outside while I`m in my house training... PRICELESS.

EDIT. the dumbells I don`t know I think 35cents pound 20 -100 pound dumbells

Thanks everyone.

Bulldog, I shopped around alot and got the best deals. and not All the equipment is top notch but good enough.

You`d be surprised though, the room is`nt that big. I do appreciate the compliments though.

Gettinlarger, I`m always chasing around my 15 month old, but you can come and I`ll give you the keys to the basement. no prob. lol Plus, I don`t lift with anybody, I`m too weak. it`s embarrassing. lol

Holy shit! That's way too nice. I don't think I could lift down there, Afraid I would mess it up or put a whole through the wall.

:worried:

Really awesome shit man! Seriously WOW!

I think we should collectively (elite)come up with our own combined network and broadcast our workouts live in our basements/garages then VIA whatever web site we want to call it. Any takers??????

This actually isn't too hard.

1) Pick up a camera for your computer
2) Get an extra long cable to run it to the workout room
3) Microsoft has a component which will convert the video and stream it over the internet.

I have a couple websites and on one I had SidCAM so that my family could watch me or see what was happening in my apartment.

It would be cool to be able to go to a website and click a link to see someone lifting. Talk about motivation!

I've got a computer with a webcam and fast connection setup in the same room as my weights and could easily make that work. Having said that, I like the fact nobody is watching when I workout. Its my own private sanctuary and escape from the world.

the only suggestion I have is to rip out that carpet, can't squat on carpet. BTW as everyone else has said NICE fn gym bro

Clifton, New Jersey.

The room was originally supposed to be a playroom for my newborn but she won`t need it for a while. lol so I filled it up with this stuf. lol Yes I`m ashamed. Hey but she likes to workout. lol THAT`S why I don`t have the mirror to the floor.

It`s a concrete floor under the carpet. I won`t be ripping it out. Ironlion are you talking about injury prone squats or just performance? with carpet? If it`s the latter Im not that worried, but I don`t need any more injuries. lol btw would it help or hurt if I put the rubber mats under the rack?

I`m always telling friends to come over and lift. If you guys want you can come and have a workout. like I said I won`t be there but I`ll give you the keys to the basement. but IT IS`NT AS BIG AS IT LOOKS. Look closely, you have to manuever around the equipment but by myself It`s no problem. If you don`t mind, I don`t mind.

too bad you're not in south jersey....woulda been sweet for a Jersey/Philly thing....

nice fawkin gym man

Hell, I'd say you should rent out the gym to passersby to get some of that money back. If only I could afford such shit now. But alas, I'm 16 and money is tight right now.

Enjoy that setup man, because that's fuckin' hot!

nice!! i know you have a stereo in there somewhere

tell me you open that double-doored closet and it's one giant speaker. the kind that marty played his guitar in front of and blew himself out of the room in back to the future

All I was saying was that you will need a solid surface to squat on, the carpet is too soft, and has to much give. But I don't think you will hurt yourself by squatting on it, just lose a lot of power

Really nice! Looking to have somewhat the same set-up.

Not a flame at all, but couldn't you do everything you wanted to do with half of the "big" equipment than you have?

is the rack ok w/ the distance from front to back pillars or should i go w/ the one at nybb that has like 33" bw pillars?

Thanks all again.
IronLion thanks, I`m glad it has nothing to do with injury. The carpets thin and with all the weight should go down soon. lol

Legion, when I was younger I was into lifting weights and said to myself "if I could do it I will" one day. So now I have it. I`m not hard core. I`m 34 with a wife and small kid and very busy but I`m trying to make it a lifestyle now.

Beastboy, I did`nt get everything all at once so every new item I got I just added and did`nt get rid of the old one. The only extra thing I have is maybe the Smith machine that may go, but I`m sure I`ll use it for something.

Supersizeme,
I have a little radio on the floor next to the smith machine, BUT I also have a KILLER AUDIO system (surround sound)in my living room upstairs that`s connected to a whole house audio/video system. I can listen to anything (and watch) in any room of the house AM,FM CD,DVD,SAT tv,VCR, etc. and the basement and Deck.

Having said all that, I only have the extra speakers installed in the Master bedroom and deck now...

King, If I could do it again I WOULD GET THE BIGGER ONE the 33 inch would be less "tight" If you have the room. but I`m 6ft 3 tall and would need it. but it is working fine for now. I`ve only done light squats in there so far and it`s ok. but I def suggest the 33 inch. (this one is 26inch deep)

King If I were you I`d go with that one you have there from NYBarbell. more room for good mornings etc.

How significant is that going to be? I've always worked out on carpet...
