Golds gym

I work out at home. No way I'm gonna try and head to the gym at 5 am even if there is one open. I have a pretty decent home set up, elliptical trainer, recumbant bike bench with leg attachment. My question is what is your guys opinion of the golds powerflex. I figured I would still use free weights for dead lift ect but I'm doing dumbell benches because I don't have a spotter. I'm buying more plates constantly. Any opinions? thanks.

The powerflex thingy douns like a bowflex, if its like one of those, then I suggest jus gettin a powerrack and using it for benching and squats.

It looks a little better than the bowflex but thats what I'm afraid of. I was hoping to find someone who had played around with one. My space is limited. A power rack would fill my room up. Thanks for the input.

Yep,I would go with a power rack/open rack without a doubt.I got a newyorkbarbells rack at home, good rack. They also have free shipping and no sales tax,so its a good deal.

As far as home gyms go, the bowflex isn't a half bad piece of equipment. But i would definately opt for the power rack in it's place. Not to mention, the waiting list for those things are really long.
