After my first 2 years in the Army, I'm down 40 lbs because of only sporatic time in the gym and a deployment to Iraq. I'm finally going to be able to spend regular time in the gym and am really looking forward to it. It just sucks that I feel like I'm going to be starting over. I'm hoping to be able to put on at least a pound a week just by eating big, working out with large compound movements and taking creatine.
But I gotta say it's really tempting to set up a lose dose test run. I know my body isn't ready and I don't need it to make gains, but the temptation is still there.
Anyone else go through this after a large amount of time off?
