Going to see Rush tomorrow

Lestat

MVP
EF VIP
At the Nokia Center in Los Angeles.

I used to make fun of this band when I was in high school and into Metal and Dr. Dre (still favorites to this day though). Now I realize what a talented trio they are, and despite some super hokey lyrics in some songs, they are a treat to see.

Here are my two favorite songs by them:
Witch Hunt - great song with a very relevant message
The guitar riff is amazing, the vocal melodies the icing on the cake

Thing just rocks, no two ways about it

I grew up loving Rush. My room was full of their posters and I was obsessed with Neil's song writing.
At 11, I wrote my first poem because of them. From that, I became a song /poetry writer.
In 1993, a famous local band got a hold of my songs and I cowrote their entire album.
They loved my songs because they said they were "very rush like"
Good times.....

Enjoy the show Lestat. They are still God's to me
My first time I saw them was in 1981 and the ticket was $7.50. I still have the stub

I used to watch them in my hometown of Hamilton when they were a bar band.1974/75 then came along 2112 that was their breakout album. I love that era of their music.

I saw them in 1986 and it was the Moving Pictures tour.. It was awesome, I expect a full report.. You will have a great time.
