GOing to Peter Luger's tomorrow

For those that know what Luger's is. Probably the best steakhouse in the country. It is an institution. The type of place you take your grandfather, father, and male cousins to.

I have been to a lot of the national chains (Mortons, Ruth Chris, Capital Grille) and Luger's is the best.

The Chart House in Hermosa Beach has the best steak I've ever had. The place over looks the ocean, very pricy though.

I go to that RC at least once a month.

Is PL's still cash only? that was their thing in NY...used to go with my bro and take my dad quite a lot...enjoy it, it's good chow.

i didn't pay the last time i went, i don't know.
the most expensive meal i ever had was at ruth's chris- over $600 for 2 but the food really was awesome.
i didn't even like the steaksauce at peter lugers.

I like lugers... Frank's is better... I love The Palm too....

If you want more: go to Aureole and get the Angus. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

I've been to PL and I don't think they are all that... The waiters were snobby little f*cks!! The whole only cash thing pisses me off to!! The best steaks I've had were at RC and Burton and Doyles(don't know if there are any others in NY or across the country)..

Ummmm steak rules but nothing beats my Mom's steak that would hands down be the best steak house I know.
