Going to my very first Office Christmas party.... EVER

My dads office is in about an hour "Here" and its sort of pissing me off. My dads done jack shit while last two days I've been helping my mom and brother prepare while he sits his fat ass on the couch and plays management.
My works office party is on the 24th and its a lunch event. They will be sorry they invited me.

I'm going to my Christmas party tonight too. Slate grey slacks, Black button down shirt, matching tie....you get the picture. Major League Ho bustin' is gonna be goin' down tonight!

Well, it is the morning after and this is how it went:
The appetizers were disappointing and the dessert was also kind of a let down. BUT - I had a fucking AWESOME STEAK!!! wine and sangria on the tables and open bar. I sat with my old boss (from when I worked front desk, made the move over to personal training recently) and two of her best friends (one of them was kindof slurp-erific *wink*). When time came to dance I straight up tore it up, so much so that I was gently warned by my old boss' boss (who is a bit of a worrier) to "behave". Hehehehheee I haven't danced since I quit doing it "professionally" last year and can I say that IT FELT REALLY REALLY GOOD!
I LOVE TO DANCE.
A got A LOT of nasty looks from the tight-assed white chicks with zero sense of rythm and had an awesome time dancing with some of the guys and gals from my own gym. (I work for a chain that has several facilities in my state.)
The black tuxedo blouse doesn't have buttons but rather snaps and I hate to admit that a few times when I extended my arms above my head one snap had a mind of its own and did a "Janet Jackson" to reveal a bit more of the black pushup brazierre I had on underneath. hehehehehehehee
My pants must have been the talk of the party! I have NO CLUE what fabric it is made of but GODDAMN does it fit, but good.
My hat was perfect. I am known for usually wearing hats and/or bandanas.
Drank enough to be happy, but sweat most of it out on the dance floor, drove home alone but with a smile on my face. (My ex boss' one friend and I kind of *clicked*.)
In closing I just want to say that if an outsider were looking in, one would NEVER KNOW that this was a staff party for a large gym chain as 99% of the people were in HORRIBLE SHAPE... I mean straight up disgusting shape! The guy that won "personal trainer of the year" (for sales) looked as if he never saw the inside of a gym! There were a few ladies that had awesome bodies, lean and nice shape but they were walking around in really bad outfits looking more like drag queens than women. There physiques were beyond compare, especially as they were probably even older than me (I am approaching 40) but goddamn if they didnt look totally uncomfortable in a skirt and heels! And a lot of them had shoe-leather skin... a real shame.
There were a few very elegantly dressed well-put together outfits and some of the guys were very sharp in their appearance but the majority of people looked like they got dressed in the dark.
All in all though, my coworkers and I had a good time and it was very nice... Would have been nicer if I had someone special to share the evening with but for now, this will do.

glad u had fun.. but yah its amzing how many ppl who work for a gym arent in shape.
Whats even better is when one of them comes up to me when im working out and gives me advice. I don't mind advice, but have trouble taking it from someone with a pot belly
