anyone know what there is to do around cocoa beach, and around there? i'll be hanging around there for 3 or 4 days visiting a friend,.

Do ya fish? or Surf?
Ron Jon's Surf shop on A1A in Cocoa Beach.. Open 7x24x365 MUST SEE.
Loads of honeys and Surfer Dudes hanging out in the store All Day and Night.
Port Canaveral - Jetty Park.. See big ass Ships and Navy Subs and stuff come and go from the Port. Killer fishing Pier.
There's a Big Mall over the causeway in Cocoa
Food / Drink
Bernard Surf - Great seafood / steak Restaurant. Dress nice.
Gotta go to Coconuts bar right on the beach by the Holiday Inn

Does fishing hurt the fish? How about when you hook it through the top of their jaw, and it comes out near their nose or through their eyes? I had a fishing hook stuck in a turtles eye through its mouth one time. I stepped on its shell and yanked it, and his head popped off. I used to really enjoy fishing, but the pain issue got me reconsidering. I don't like hurting animals, even if they smell like stinky poon.

I've heard people say that fish have a different type Nervous than other animals.
I think that's BS. It's gotta hurt. But then, how would I know. I'm not a fish.
Buff.. Orlando's about an hour away from the coast but I go to Cocoa Beach or New Smyrna Beach often enough to know those places are OK and there is not a whole lot else to choose from.
Most of the Party crowd goes a little north to Daytona
