That would have been the smart option. I went to Venue then Mink, both no cover mink had to wait in line for a few minutes. Moral of the story better to pay $20 to get in and like the music then nothing and hate it.sigweed said:

i went out last night, in my gorgeous town where the men outnumber the women by a realistic 5:2 in the clubs...the attitude of some of the women had me doing deep breathing exercises before i grabbed them by the boob and threw them off the balcony
i must have looked annoyed, because for a wonder no one was bumping into me
amazingly, some girl asked why i was annoyed and i ended up getting her number...talk about making lemonade! 
i went out last night, in my gorgeous town where the men outnumber the women by a realistic 5:2 in the clubs...the attitude of some of the women had me doing deep breathing exercises before i grabbed them by the boob and threw them off the balcony

Yeah, I'm finished with the club scene.
Occasionally I'll hit up a bar if my friends are going, but otherwise I sit at home surfing EF on a weekend night.

Film is one of my favorite clubs actually worth paying to get into. Ultra is also a good place but it's for an older clubbing crowd usually 30+...sometimes it's too upscale, Valet parking...Bentleys, Ferraris..etc It's not that great if you just want to hang out.
System is now shit for the most part and Comfort Zone has always been Crackhead zone.

I used to bartend at the Sketchy Zone for as shit as the place is they draw some serious DJ's and I find they play a lot harder there for some reason. I was always happy to have the bar between me and most of the club goers there for sure.

LOL @ the zone. A midget pulled a knife on me when I was standing at the bar...he wanted my watch and shirt... (beleive it or not I had my shirt on at the zone) Luckily, the bouncers pounced on him. Talk about a bad trip.
Music is absolutely sick, especially De-koze,
Alive by Pure Orange, Scumfrog remix...that was a staple of his sets.
I went to the zone a dozen times or so...the music is intense, but in the end, it's not worth it.
Everytime I went there (and it could be a year apart), they had a core group of drug addicts who never miss a weekend... That small black guy with the mustache and striped white and orange shirt, the asian dealer with the long slick back hair you likes to wink at guys, that blond stripper who goes around robbing ppl in the K-hole...etc lol I will never allow people to drag me to that shithole again.
Ultra is near This is London/District/System, about Queen and Peter, it's a seperate building so it's easy to find

Keep in mind that Comfort Zone is an after-afterhours club. I beleive they actually open at 7am and the party goes on for a couple of days. I think it's similar to the SoundFactory in NY...not too sure.
It was an experience when I was younger, but after a while you end up being dragged to that place by people who don't want to stop partying and it could be a nightmare.
The last time I got dragged there, I slept in the car, didn't even go in. Sleeping in a car at 6 am is a very pleasant experience when you have sleep apnea.
I waited for the idiots and drove them home (It wasn't my car). Never partied with them again, they just can't control themselves.

man, i just love to dance. no drinking, no drugs. just dancing for as long as my body can hold up on water and no food, ussually. there is one good place in town here called shattered. they have a really good base of electronic dj's. its small, but there's never more than a few hundred people at a time. even when all the breakers take the floor up everyone has enough room to dance if they want. since i was 18 ive been going out. i dont do it as often sometimes, but i have other obligations in life. i just love to dance, to feel the rythm

I don't know, but I imagine there would be. The good afterhours clubs in Toronto are more upscale. I know it's more popular in Montreal...You can find pretty much anything in MTL. I went to a "sex" club when I was 17 in Montreal, there was a women hooked up on a swing and a line-up of guys fucking her...I stayed for about 5 minutes and left mortified.

Something to take up my time... girls to fufill my whims... Stupid shit. I lived with a girl for 4 years... got out... 8 months later I was clubbing hard... couldn't go anywhere without someone in this town recognizing me... calling out my name....
It got old. Wanted out. I got it: Got perm g/f, clubs closed, well and the rest... yeah. I'm done for a LONG time...
