God spelled backwards is Dog

thats why I've seen many religious types not write out the O in God. they will either write GD or another completely different word. The last person who told me of this was a Muslim man we had speaking back in college. he said that the people that associated with for the most part would either write GD or Allah. because by writing god which could be construed as dog backwards was disrespect to God. (in english that is)
