My girlfriend just gets very quiet and keeps to herself when she gets mad.

Needless to say I try to make her mad as often as possible.

here is a tip for the long term...when she makes you go food shopping with her - go back in forth across aisles aimlessly getting the goods...this will drive her nuts and you will never be allowed again to shop with her. Works like a charm.

I am one of THE COOLEST broads on the planet. And I do NOT give my husband shit about *little things*. If I am giving shit there is a damned good reason. Being the excellent hubby my hubby is, his usual answer when I have a hair stuck up my ass is, "Yes dear." and life goes on real happy-like.

When I am angry to the point where I might say something I will regret, I am done talking. I am going to bed, cya in the morning and we will revisit this when we BOTH have a different perspective... took my husband near a year to learn NOT TO follow me around.

Actually I don't mind clothes shopping much because I just stand in the petite section checking out other girls while my GF wanders around.

clothes shopping is a completely different animal than food shopping. i control the food shopping yet i am owned at the mall. what i do is say, you have 2 hours than we are leaving. this way, 4 hours later i get my way. works like a charm.

lol that's me right there. When I get REALY REALLY mad - which is rare - I get very quiet and will usually put some space between me and the source of my anger till I calm down. I've raised my voice at only three people in my life, and my parents are two of them.
