Goatees on men....

I think they are chessy and played out...most of the gals I know seem to feel the same way...

Nice to know you girls like goatees. I have had a goatee or a full beard since '95. Think it would scare me if I shave since I wouldn't recognize the guy in the mirror.

Cheers,
Scotsman

Tell me if that isn't hot if you were a chick?

That's what all the women in Hollywood/LA are lusting after. Musclebound guys get squat. Trust me, you look like that, you GET the Carmen Electra type!

Goatee and bald head. that's how I do it. While I had a full head of hair I just choose to shave it.

The right guy and the right face.... a goatee will never go out of style.

Biteme is sporting a goatee to drool for :p

Pounce!!!!!!!!!!! :kitty: :kitty: :kitty:

My goatee is like a security blanket, I just can't bring myself to part with it.

Hey genuises. The look that you're all jerking off over is called a "Vandyke". A goatee is a little pointed beard on your chin, so-called because it makes you look like a damn billygoat.

I have to explain everything.

But no one says Van Dyke anywhere and if you said it most people wouldn't even know what you are talking about kinda like what most people call nipple are actually areolas.

Anyway I'm sporting my GOATEE (lol) in my avatar now.

I've had my goatee for so long, I would feel naked without it.

Had a shaved head and goatee for over 12 years now, had it before it was popular and will have it long after everyone stops again. Its just who I am ;)

Ladies........how does it feel to have a guy with facial hair go down on you........wouldn't it irritate or tickle?

It's like thousands of tiny fingers...tickling all the right places!! LoL!

yea that is the funny thing, I have looked the same for so long, makes it tough for people to know how old I am LOL.

women love goatees it's all the rage in hollywood right now. All started by Dave Navaro.

The whole "heroin chic" thing is still going on? gag

Had a moustache since I was about 14 (looooong damn time ago), decided to grow a goatee about 10-15 years ago, had it ever since. I did shave it off twice and hated it both times...I have a natural babyface and no facial hair makes me look 18 again. Once was enough.

Oh yeah...I'm a longhair too :D

Do I give a shit what's "in"? No. :D

Do I give a shit whether others like it or not? No. :D

"Fashion" and "trends" are for those too weak to decide for themselves what looks good and what doesn't.

I do NOT find a single pic on this thread remotely appealing. I do NOT like facial hair on a man.

Having said that...

"There is this guy...." ;)

Well, I can't stand bald coochies SO THERE!

:artist:

i tried various different shapes (no moustache, thicker sides) but have more or less settled on the look in my avitar.

clearly you missed my pic when it was up

Email me a pic then... and I have the avatars turned off at work so I don't know what any of you looks like.

I am only talking about the guys' pics that were posted on this thread. I don't find ANY of them appealing.

Sugarplumb, email me a pic. I have avatars turned off. Besides those pics are very small anyways...

Seriously, email me a pic of you in like T-shirt and jeans (don't need to see you with your shirt off to see you if you have a nice physiqe, plus honestly, it embarrasses me unless it is a competitive pic to show off hard work for contest). I will give you my honest opinion. But be warned, it takes an odd combination for me to find a man attractive. I am very wierd like that.

From what I have seen you post I find you to be a very warm, sensitive and intelligent man. Haven't really seen you post up anything advocating violence, but really I haven't been paying attention to your posts specifically. Just trying to be fair and honest. And yes, my judgement WILL be clouded because there is some sort of "personal" relationship as we have both been on elite for a very long time.

If I saw you post up stuff that I found made you out to be a total asshole, you could by the standards of most be considered HOT beyond words. I would DEFINITELY find you unappealing. On the other hand, if I have seen posts by you that showed you to be the way I *think* you are, then I would find you MORE appealing then if you were merely a pic on a thread as those that were already posted.

Yes, I talk too much.... I admit it. :qt:

I am considering shaving mine off, it's beginning to be too much of a hassle for upkeep, plus, it's summer, so I'll just be clean shaven to cool off quick.

Good point. I never even heard of a goatee before Dave Navarro

awww.....shucks, ma'am (hands in front pockets, grinning foolishly, kicking at the dirt with my shoe tips) ;)

Funny how this thread turned from a goatee appreciation thread to a goatee despise thread. :)

Trend Followers!!!

I`ve never had a Goatee. I`m not one to follow trends really. I appreciate the bros who`ve had them BEFORE and will continue AFTER the "trend" passes and what not. I`ve never had a mullet either. lol ALL my friends did at one point...along with having a goatee at one point. I was never even curious enough to "see how it looks" in the mirror while shaving, just for a minute, NEVER.

That`s just me. I like to be clean shaven, although I get scruffy A LOT! because of laziness. lol

It's awesome.
Well, providing the other actions are equally as awesome.

Unless you're married to Carmen Electra, you should not have a goatee. :artist:

yay

Wonder why no chix try and headbutt my sack at the gym then?

I'm thinking cause I got one that's all scarred and gone from a fire but I doubt chix are that superficial.

....interesting, but definitely not attractive to me. I like older guys and that is something that while I think looks neat, would expect that to be on the face of a guy that one of my kids would be dating in like 6 years or so.

Just being honest.

My creativity shows in my appearance. Normal is lame and boring.

Chix spend money to get their nails done, i do my shit up all cool.

What it equals out to are two things that very few of the opposite sex will find appealing (nails and beards)

I've had one for about 6 years. It's red and blonde but the hair on my
head is black...I have no idea why.

They brought up Carmen Elektra, shes hot but a grade A whore and not too bright.

All the girls I know that I like describe men with goatees as talking cunts

My daughter calls me pussy chin. Little girls don't like hair on the face.

Ok, here is what I see regarding facial hair.

Men of authority do not, generally, have facial hair.

Managers, professors and fringe leaders often have facial hair but the higher ups, in general, do not have facial hair.

Younger men often either have gotees that portray masculinity or rarer variations such as burning_inside. I often sport a full beard or one somewhat like Nick Berg's (sorry for using him as an example but it is easier this way). I'm not sure I agree with burning's assessment that "normal is boring", because rare variations fit in society just as do more mainstream looks of authority.

I see facial hair as portraying one's animalistic/amoral/irrational side - definitely something a man of authority cannot have (Professors sporting full beards in the typical sense, on the other hand, portray some kind of weird intellectual recognition of this, I think). THAT, I think, is why robert jan does not want a gotee - he wants the type of girl who is looking for a man of authority and moral correctness.

I see the fact that men must shave as a sort of denial of our desires and emasculinization. But to have the look of true authority and moral correctness a man must shave.

My hubby has a goatee which he keeps very short....grew it cuz I love the look.....had my last 2 boyfriends & my ex-hubby also grow one.....I love a goatee on a man....

Boombox -- post yours up again...

I usually keep it shaved or with a few days of growth. A few times in the last few years I have let a full beard grow very long to the point that people called me Santa. All girls in my circle, with just a few exceptions, expressed their extreme distaste. However, I met and shagged more women than I have ever met while with a beard - and I am not talking about just a certain class of girls. Maybe it was just the novelty of it?

you think WAY too much!! go to the gym and lift!!!!!!

I wear a goatee, but I have this deep fear that they've become comically unfashionable or declasse, and no one had the heart to tell me. Kind of like when I was still wearing boot cut jeans and flares in 1981.

They are a way of bonding communication between stupid people.

You still have a lot of growing up to do. How old are you? 16,17?

I think all men who don't have hair on their faces are pussies who probably cant grow a moustache and beard, so they're jealous of those that can.
I don't really feel this way, but it's no different than what you are saying. Ridiculous.
