Of course the shorter ester is going to cause a greater spike. The drug is released at a faster rate and the shorter ester itself is ligher so there is more of the drug in the solution. I am no chemist but the study that I read on nandrolone use and testosterone suppression suggested that a lower drug concentration will have a prolonged rate of release due to the larger volume of oil. This slower release will result in a more even blood concentration of the drug but will not attain as high a blood concentration as the less volumous injection. I don't remember the name of the study but the link is in one of Animal's posts on the AF board.
