Philly boys you are gonna hate me, I can't believe it myself but for the final, I am cheering for these kids who are too young and close-knit to listen to those who say they shouldn't be there.

What a group these guys are and yet they are missing a couple of key players.

I love the underdog stories. Was it the Wild who went off last year in the playoffs? These speedy young teams ar loaded with skill.

Now did Iginla whip Hatcher earlier this year? Or did Hatcher kick his ass? I only saw a short clip, not enough to tell. When Hatch was in Dallas, he regulated mofos routinely. I mean in oour building if you acted out (Roedick) Hatcher would go get you and take you out. I wish the Stars kept Hatcher. ANYWAY! out of every canadian team i would of given them the least chance of going to the finals, they have the 2nd best player in the league in iginla, but the reason they are in the finals is because of kiprusoff who i had on one of my fantasy teams, like i told you all before all you need is a hot goalie come playoff time and hes on fire, do you think the sharks are pissed they let him go???? flame fans are lucky because their opening day goalie was turek who got hurt early on in the season which paved the way for kiprusoff to take over, besides those two players calgary is a fairly weak team having a few average players like donovan and gelinas, i dont see how they have a chance in the finals if they play the bolts, it will be a mismatch

I disagree with ya there, the Bolts and SJ play the same style of hockey and use speed to get things done. All the teams Calgary has played has been a so called mis-match, these guys are for real in these playoffs, just as real as Tampa Bay has been.

Calgary has a far better chance against the Bolts then they would against the Flyers as the Flyers would pound their defence.

Every team Calgary has played has been better on paper, here I thought you knew enough about hockey the know that this means shit this time of year. And TB isn't loaded with stars and as individ's aren't that stellar. It has been their ability to play as a team, and goaltending and coaching that has gotten them where they are this year.

Tampa Bay has been physical but no where near what the flyers have been. They are ahead because of their speed in the series, if they tried to play physical hockey they would be golfing, TB is a small team.

They are good no doubt, but I stand by what I said, Cagary's odds are better against TB then Philly.

see my previous post, bigdawg we got the guy who is going to win the hart trophy (st louis) along with richards, lecavalier, modin, and stillman, and you say we have no stars or stellar individual players??????????????????? the problem with talking to canadians about hockey is that you all never see the bolts play, we won the east bigdawg, WON IT didnt slide in at 6th position, we were the best team in the entire east, a conference that plays more physical hockey than the west, we have played against every stlye there is and beaten it

but you are missing the point, except for 1 maybe 2 Vinny still has some to prove, none of the others are stars. St Louis as much as I like him will have to have another couple of years like this to keep the star title.

Hell the Jets in 88-89 had 6 20 goal scorers and I wouldn't say they were all stars.

They got there due to their team play and everyone knows regular season stats mean shit come playoff time.

I won't get into a list of players who are absolute shit during the year but are playoff machines and then there are the guys who are regular season machines who disappear come playoffs.

I love watching Dallas and Colorado go at it. The first round of the playoffs is my favorite time of year. Nothing better than a game on a Saturday afternoon with HDTV.
