Hope this is a good forum to post this in. I have been thinking about my career path for the past couple of weeks and have been thinking about working in the gym industry as desk jobs apparently don't work out for me. Now I know I can't just jump in and poof be manager of a gym, so starting out close to the bottom and working to the top would have to do. Can anyone give me any info on what kind of person qualifies for such a job, and what to expect? Also, I'm used to applying for jobs thru web sites and sending out resume's and what not. How does one go about applying for a position at a gym?? In the end, owning a gym would be my goal. Any insight would greatly be appreciated!!

I can tell you your iin for a long road. If you want to start in sales or training letters of referance are very important. Sorry got to go my cardio equipment just got here
