Glutamine and Dextrose questions

Glutamine:
what is a good daily dosage amount and is it only taken PWO or can it be taken daily with protein shakes?

Dextrose:
What type of shop carries Dextrose? I've been to a few Viatmin and HEalth shops where I susually get my supps. but none carry it. They seem to think that it is not a quality supplement and recommend fructose or other sweetners. I am not too knowledgable about this supp. but I kind of understand its PWO benefits and have seen it recommended a lot on this board. Are other sweetners like fructose just as good?

Glutamine: Anywhere from 10-20g daily is ideal for me. I have dropped using L-Glutamine and have been using G-Plenish (glutamine peptides). It is much better...

I have been using gplenish and it seems really good, however the one thing I don;t understand is you get 1200 grams of it, but a serving is 15g of protein, 5g of which are glutamine peptides. now why does it make sense to get only a 3rd of what you pay for as glutamine, when you could buy glutamine from a different company 1000g for about 35-45$ and then entire 1000g is glutamine?

your getting the getting the goods, and I am glad its working .....


there is a difference between the two so you actually are getting more "glutamine" into your target tissues via the peptide route for the peptides bonds shield the glutamine from the traumatic stresses of PH changes that go on in digestion.


The normal L-form is a sythetic single amino acid that degrades when exposed to any heat change or Ph change, thus when it hits your stomach acids most of it gets termimated


also the other 2/3 of the peptides bound on to the glutamine are comprised of all the amino acids in the spectrum including essential ones, so not only are you getting glutamine transported to where you need it, but your also getting more protien that is comprised of items you need as well.....
