I wait to hear a reply from you on every one of my Ketogenic questions, your knowledge amazes me. Some people say the glucometer will give you false readings about your state in Ketosis, is this true?
True - but blood glucose and carb metabolism are closely inter-related...when sugar is down ketones are burned for fuel(fractures fats)...therefore a ketogenic diet will force blood sugar down and vice versa

actually a glucometer only measures blood sugar, I think you have the glucometer cofused w/ ketosix (keto sticks that you urinate on).....
W/ a glucometer just make sure your blood sugar is not over 60, that will signal a steady ketonic level; however, I prefer 50.
