...I didn't get cheated on, she actually told me she was having feelings for someone else but that she had never acted on them and felt it her duty to tell me before anything happened. I say that she did the right thing, so it's hard to know what I'm supposed to feel... It just sucks

I think your feelings are spot on. To hear some shit like that from your g/f, while yes honesty part is most important, it just plain fuckin' sucks to hear.
Go fuck her best friend and tell her that you've been having feelings for her since the 2nd week you 2 were together, this is just to bolster your ego through the healing process.

But take this advice with you...Always reserve a part of yourself when getting close to someone. Because the odds are it won't last. The more women sense how much you want them and see how eager you are to please them,the less they'll care about you, because they see that as a frailty/weakness. And women like confident/secure guys.
Just pretend they are not all that, and you'll see how much THEY'RE eager to please.
