i dont have any trigger time on the 308 but unless it wows me ill probably end up with (most likely) 5.56 or 7.62 for various reasons.

i dont really see the point, if im close enough to see the dot ill already have the mag dumped.

rather throw a tac light on it or some meprolights.

tac light might not be a bad idea, both the Sig and Spring 1911 have night sights.
