Gift Baskets as a Business??

Would something like this be viable locally? Hmmmmmmmmm.....

I'm only thinking locally so as not to have to ship anything.....but I've gotten into making gift baskets for Xmas gifts with different themes: Salsa, Spa, Kitchen Chef, Housewarming,Movie Nite, etc using a variety of Dollar Store items as well as handmade crafts, gift cards, etc

I wonder if there is a market for something like that....or is it all premium stuff??

I can set up a website for free, so I wonder if I should try it......

Can I bounce ideas off you guys?

Its totally worth a shot! You can go to small stores and see if they will sell them, a website is good, word of mouth, post up flyers in stores, etc, especially as the holidays roll around. You may be able to convince large corporate companies to post something for you, or take samples in ( rich people, that dont have time to shop ). A friend of mine did something similar, and made a good side income, and it was fun for her. I think you should go for it. Start small, of course, then if it doesnt work out so well, you can give them as gifts, and it wont be a huge deal.
