Why would you want to take high GI foods only after a workout?
wouldn't it be as good eating them through the day too? like fruit and stuff?
i mean... if you want to be growing all the time... you gotta have insulin runnin through your veins all the time right?
without overdoing it of course...
any input on this?
 
You eat those carbs post workout because your blood levels of glucose are down and you want to speed insulin release in your system to aid in recovery and growth. If you eat sugary carbs all day you risk getting fat, after a workout your muscles are starved for glucose and you have no risk of those carbs going to fat stores....
