GHB and Paxil

Anyone know if you can take GHB while on Paxil?

Do you want to know if you CAN or if you SHOULD??? You know, you CAN do a lot of things and not die - like play russian roulette - but that doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Intuitively, it seems like a bad combination to me. Maybe a more educated member will know, but there might be some sort of reaction between the two because GHB might be a short-term MAO inhibitor (I could be way off on this), which is something you should never mix with any SSRI like Paxil.

I don't do GHB anymore, but when I used to do it, the only two things I found that mix well with G are sex and weed...

Yep, from what I've read... mixing SSRI's and GHB are a big nono.

Will it kill you? No more than having unprotected gay sex with a male prostitute... no more than drinking on DNP. No, you will not necessarily DIE INSTANTLY from GHB and Paxil...but, like everyone has said, its a bad idea to mix SSRI's and G.

Let me give you a little piece of very valuable advice...stop taking G and other drugs/alcohol altogether. I guarantee your need to self medicate is one of (if not the) most major issues in your life causing your need to be on Paxil for depression and/or anxiety issues.

However, you seem like the real fucking idiotic type. I think you already made up your mind to take G when on Paxil before you posted the question...you just needed someone to tell you it wouldn't lead to instant death. Possible endangerment of health is OK, just as long as its not going to kill you right off... fucking moron...

Dude, GO FOR IT!!! Swig some G and pop a Paxil... the world would be a much better place without people like you.

I don't know if this helps...but I have done G a million times on prozac with no problems...Remember though everybody is different.

From the research I have done and being an ssri user probably for the rest of my lift unless they find some other cure for anxiety and irritability you are not supposed to do it.

But I do anyways every now and then.

I'm also not supposed to drink heavily while on a cycle - oops done that a couple times too.

You're also not supposed to take insulin unless you're diabetic - oh no I've done that too

You also shouldn't take any steroids without a prescription. I think 1 or 2 of us on this board may be guilty of that one.

I can't see how GHB and paxil are contraindicitive? So far no one has offered the science behind why.
