Getting Steroids From My Doctor

The likelihood of you getting a script is not too good unless you live in California (libral MD's out there) or near another large city where you can find either an endocrinoloigist or anti-aging doc that specializes in hormone therapy. I know that if I went to my family doc with this, he wouldn't have the slightest idea how to prescribe any AAS, let alone want to do it.

Exactly...Notice how everyone who says they're getting the sauce from an MD is from the States, that's because they have longevity and anti-aging clinics in the US or docs that are just more liberal. In BC (especially Northern BC) where there is a doctor shortage, you don't have many doc's to try. Second, they won't be sympathetic to your needs regardless if you're dad is behind you. The doc couldn't care less, it's his job on the line. And yes, I've tried the doc trick myself here in BC, and no, it hasn't worked.

Likely a lot of those who are prescribed test are also quite a bit older than 18. Doesn't matter where you are, any MD who prescribes to a normal 18 y.o. is a liability/misconduct case waiting to happen. There are clinics in Canada as well that will do test replacement therapy, but you have to qualify for it meaning you will have to have a few blood test-hormonal assays done. Chances are at 18 you will not qualify(likely wouldn't even qualify to be tested).

I am actually considering going the Dr. route. But I am 34 y/o and have been lifting for 12 years naturally. So I think I have a decent shot at getting an Rx from an anti-aging Dr. Has anyone in thier 30's or 40's gone this route? I would be interested in getting feedback on how it worked.

I find a couple statements here misleading.
I agree that most doctors will not put risk on themselves for someone else and get nothing in return. However, the whole idea of going to the doc came from my uncle. He is a wrestling coach and many of his students got scripts from there doctors.
Also, doctors look out for your well-being,it is their job.
So if your taking vet steroids, possible dirty ones too
and you are going to take steroids no matter what,I think doctors should provide you with clean stuff.
But this is likely to never happen.

As for never making gains naturally, explain how I can be off right now,and put 20lbs on my bench in the last 2 weeks? YMK,i think you are very knowledgeable, but your opinions may conflict with the facts.

I have seen the same ortho for years, he has performed 4 surgeries on me, we have a great relationship, so after a couple years I asked him if he would consider prescribing deca for my joints. His reply, "Now, we both know if you want some deca YOU know where to get it." Meaning, he knows I can find it in the gym or MX. This is a very progressive and sports-minded doctor (US Ski Team docs) and he is still prudent in his practice.
It was rumored back in HS that the local doc in my small town would prescribe AS if you were a varsity athlete. I did not go to the "town" doctor, so I never knew for sure.

I think it's unlikely there is much you can say that will pursuade him-if he will he will.

MOST docs would view this analogy more like this... you are using a BB gun to kill yourself...I am not putting a bazooka in your hands.

Your more than lucky, your DAMMMMMMMM lucky!

There are doctors in the US who will write you a prescription for anything, but they cost more than an office visit. If your doctor will write you a script for gear after paying just $75 for an office then you've got a damn good thing going in your hometown! Most of us aren't that lucky and have to pay an internet doctor $100-$200 or more for scripts. The only good thing about this is that when these "Bodybuilder friendly" doctors write you a prescription, you get the gear free because your insurance covers it!

For what reasons would a doctor write a script for AAS?
I would suspect for low test levels, with that said could you go to the doctor while your test levels are suppressed and request a blood test tell him you suspect you have a test problem. Then they would have a protected reason for issuing the script. That seems to me the most reasonable approach, but I'll stick with my blackmarket source.
