lol, bc i dress 1/2 way decent i catch shit from my friends cause of it for "dressing up" when we go out

i dont even really dress up when we go out, ill wear black or charcole type pants with black shoes and a nice button up shirt or something along those lines and i hear about how gay it is lol

we're all like 20-21 yrs college type crowd so no one really has any sense of fashion

hell, the one kids whole wardrobe is a-crombie and hes got the balls to give me shit bc i dont wear khaki cargos and a abercrombie buttondown untucked and unbuttoned everytime we go out

the other one doesnt even wear clothes up to the abercrombie level LOL

I hear ya bro. I have always been a more sartorial dresser, and have caught shit from time to time. At work, I even get shit when I just wear a nice shirt. Oh well. But it's funny, because the same peoplesometimes me for advice.. And I don't really consider myself that knowledgeble in fashion.

Anyways, one thing I do notice is that the people that matter also take notice of what you are wearing, and more importantly, how you are wearing it.

I.e. chicks, bosses, prospective business partners etc.

and that abercrombie comment cracked me up, EVERYONE I see up here, abercrombie is 98% of their wardrobe. The funniest shit is when your at a party and you see 3 kids wearing the same gay fuckin aber shirt!

back when i worked for a "certain" cell service corporate office... i was told to stop dressing up so much b/c i was dressing out of my position... what a load of bs... just b/c the owners didn't know how to wear their clothes i get shit..

thing is... there are times to dress "up" and times to "dress"... don't overdo it on either.

A friend of mine had the same problem. She just ignored them and did her own thing. She's the only one that look professional out of all of them. Everyone else in the office (including the owners) looked like slobs.

i have a deep seeded hatred for polo shirts... so i would never wear them... most of the vp's would wear polo shirts with slacks... decent for a blue collar industry, but these guys were dealing with foreign investors and such... i cringed everytime the hong kong cats would roll into town in the SICKEST suits ever...

at the same time, I kinda enjoyed being able to go out in college in a t-shirt or whatever......but do whatever makes you comfortable.
