Getting Ready

I just wanted to put something out there that some may agree or not with.The first wk of my cycle (Deca,Sus,Naps) I did'nt work out. I had come off a 2 wk. diet and cardio binge and thought I would 1.Rest-Up 2.Give my diet one last tweek and 3.Heal my old body before I totally tear it up. Like some of you know there is nothing like taking some time off to re-energize the mind body and soul. Remeber when you first started working out how you were able to tear it up? Anyways, it worked great for me, has anybody else tried it?

Yep I do that alot, especially if I am starting a cycle of slow esters, nothing kicking in the first week anyways. Also I great excuse I use just to be lazy :p
 
I don't take breaks. I don't need them. I love training and I feel like a piece of shit if I don't train. I'm not knocking your habits, I'm just saying that it's not for everyone. The only change I make throughout the year is periodically going from training 5 days a week to 4.

Dude that is crazy. I know that at 36 my body needs a break once in a while. I think that since the muscles build at rest, sometimes the sleeping time is not enough.
 
i agree, nature needs winter, bodies need breaks, if you constantly burn the candle at both ends, you wil never have healthy growth. IMO
 
i honestly take time off whenever i feel like my body needs it. ive taken 2wks off every 3months or so periodically, maybe 3-4 days here, 3-4days next month. I dont take more than 3-4days off at a time though, im like maka, i need to be in the gym.
