i find most plastic surgeons know very little about gyno surgery noe do they understand the drugs that will stop it from re ocurring they just wanna cut it out and run. and hope that you'll be back
Well, the first time the surgeon (if you can call him that) left part in. I could feel some hard tissue still in there after the surgery(this was gyno I had since puberty btw.). I questioned him about it and he said it would be fine, that it was nothing.
It was fine...for a while. A couple years later, it was back... and bigger than ever! I had it removed again. I had some complications (swelling, hemmorrhaging). The doc told me that he couldnt get all the tissue out...blah, blah, blah. Something about my nipple possibly falling off. But, everything turned out fine...for a while. Let's just say I was severely disappointed again.
Then, just last year, my gyno started coming back. I asked a different doc about nolvadex to combat the gyno, and he laughed at me. I looked up a study and found it was effective in completely eliminating gyno in something like 72% of the subjects.
I tried it (20mgs/daily), and it worked. I think it was about 6 weeks before my gyno was completely gone, and I stayed on for 12 weeks just to be sure, and still no recurrence.
I'm telling you bor, 6-12 weeks of nolva at 20mgs a day is WAY CHEAPER and a lot less intrusive than surgery. Its worth a try.
