Just like few of the bros pointed out, your NUTRITION is what you need to focus primarily, training and rest, shit - your entire lifestyle has to be fine tuned.
The magic key is to trick your body to burn stored fat instead of carbs for energy. So you must tweak your diet so that your carb intake is minimal, your protein intake is fairly high and you must take fat - do not go for zero fat diet as it will backfire. Try to take omega-3, flaxseed oil and if possible extra virgin olive oil with your meals (either in salads or while preparing). Also, add some nuts as they contain the "good fats".
And stay away from all soda drinks as they have high HFCS which is disastrous to your diet plan.
