Getting a tattoo while on gear??

conundrum

New member
I'm thinking about getting another tattoo in the near future and by the time I get it I will be in the middle of a cycle. Is it a bad idea? Should I just wait?

I've gotten I would say at least 3 new ones in the last 8 months and I've been on every time I've gotten more INK. So you will be fine.

I guess I was thinking about skin surface...during pct I lose a little bit of size of what I've gained....I was wondering for example if you get on the bicep while on and then during pct you lose a little size will it mess up the image of the tattoo...probably not. But the thought did run through my head....maybe I'm thinking to much into it?

I'm not trying to be condescending or rude, but what went through your mind that made you think that getting a tattoo in anyway could pose a problem if you are on cycle? It doesn't make sense at all that there would be any remote type of issue from that.

Yes, your thinking way to much into it boss, get your ink..cause if your anything like my iron brothas then even though you may "shrink" a little...you'll always add the inches you lost and then some down the road.

Depending on the cycle, you could be retaining water. Once you lose the water weight the tat will shrink with your skin and may hide detail. I know a guy that got mad tats while he was juicin years ago, he is not as involved with the gym anymore and some of his tats look funky.

This is along the lines of what I was thinking....the only difference I'm be throwing some iron around in some sort of way until they put me in the ground.

total non issue. i've had lots of ink on gear. changes in size hasn't been a problem at all. I knew a kid in jr high that had a tat from when he was a little kid (crazy mexican gangster lol) and it looked pretty fucked up from stretching out as he grew older but you don't have to worry about that as an adult. The only possibility is if you plan on getting freakabolically huge in the future. But I've gained 55 pounds with no issues for the tats on my arms or anywhere whatsoever. you'll be fine bro.

Thanks,

much appreciated input.

Unless you are 125lbs right now and plan on getting to 210 I wouldn't worry about it, your size won't effect them that much.

Where are you getting your ink? I live in MA too. I have a good friend who owns Lion's Den in Salem NH. He's been there for many years. Owns Purple Scorpion in Salem MA and one in Glouscester somewhere. I have near full sleeves ( inked wrist to shoulder with black but not all filled in like a sleeve), across chest, and back.

Statistics show that getting inked whilst on gear can cause deformities such as tribal arm bands and unoriginal koi fish.

Agree there... my father taught me that every tat should mean something to you. He laughed everytime he saw someone with generic flash especially some tweety bird or boxing leprachaun.
