Getting a passport...

How exactly would one go about getting a passport?

I've never needed one before for overseas travel and want to get on the ball...

Just look up local passport center in your town, which is usually in the post office, and go, pay the 80 bucks I believe it is, and wait a few weeks and voila, there it is.

post office has passports (takes about 2 months or you can pay extra for rush).

Go to the post office.

If you have an old one the process will go much faster.
If no passport it could take a few months.


Ou and you need to take some passport photos - you know the kind that make you look like you need a vacation.

I'll probably be back for 3 months out of the year. Christmas, and maybe once for 2-3 contests per year...hopefully.

Haven't been to Greece...and probably will not go for a long time. Moving to Cyprus...quite a ways from Greece actually...

It's not far from Greece...and I believe you go to the south part as there is the Greek part...

What are you gonna do there?

It is fairly small place with just over 700,000 people..smaller than San Francisco..

Here in Canada they just passed a new rule. They will NOT accept passport photos of people smiling or frowning! Can you believe that?! lol

You can get photos at any CVS or Wall Mart.

The express passport will come in 2 weeks. I did it before I moved to Madeira Island.

Yeah...the borders are open again too. I'll live in Limassol with my girlfriend. As for what I will do? For now, as she suggests, I train and do VERY well as a Pro Strongman. For the future...I just pray and hope that I will find the answers.

Her island is the size of Western Kentucky...lol.

i have no idea but for some strange reason i have a feeling its harder to get than a drivers license in california. weird uh?

For the passport photo the guy at the post office sent me down the block to a small shop. He said it was about half the price. Then I had to go back to the post office and they clipped it all together and submittied it.

So maybe you could save time by going to a passport photo place first and then taking those with you to the post office.

Limasol is the capital if I am not mistaken..nice island..

Make sure you have enough place to flip yout tires as the island is quite small....

She--your GF--seems nice and she is quite cute...

Nicosia is the capital...1/2 Turk occupied.

She owns a house and her family owns a lot of land...I just hope to have access to some.

Thanks for the compliment about Nefi...I agree. When you meet her you realize from her presence just how cute and amazing that she really is.

Actually...for about $1,500 a company will come here and put everything I own on a freight carrier of some sort. I mean everything including my Suburban, 415 Atlas Stone, Super Yoke, all my weights...EVERYTHING. Takes about 21 days to get there...not bad.

I don't think that my gym will fit in with the locals in Cyprus. They are all about image and looking good. Myself, being the good self-respecting Southern Redneck that I am proud to be, ain't all about image and looking good to other people.

Anyway, I believe Stuart McRobert lives in Nicosia. He wrote Brawn, Beyond Brawn and is the editor of Hardgainer magazine. And if I'm not totally off the trip is, what, 1-2 hours? So I guess he might be able to help you with your training, at least in the gym. As far as your Suburban goes, you do know that the traffic there is left hand side, don't you? And Limassol is the party capital of the island during the summer. I haven't been there though, Larnaca was good enough for me and my wife.

Yeah, I know about the traffic. She also owns a Mitsubishi Panjero and a BMW Z3...hopefully I can drive one of those from time to time Not fully sure if I'll take my truck to be honest. My family could really use it here if I leave.
