Synpax Well-known member Feb 20, 2004 #2 http://www.packing.org There is no longer a national waiting period, though a locality may have one. And actually, there never was a national waiting period on ARs, just hand guns.

W wtlftr New member Feb 20, 2004 #3 I own a beretta 92FS. I had to wait three days for it. Now, buying a shotgun was different. I picked it out went to the counter and viola i owned a shotgun.

landser New member Feb 20, 2004 #4 I didn't realize the ease. It's much different in Canada. You need to take a 2 day course, then for a hunting license, 2 more courses etc and register your guns.
