Getting a checkup next week. Feedback wanted.

I haven't been on any orals the past year other than 4 weeks of cyclotren and a week's worth of dbol before I decided I didn't want to use them just yet...so I don't think my liver values should be elevated. I AM currently taking letro/dostinex. I eat a lot of eggs and meat. That definitely will affect my cholesterol.

I want everything checked for my own peace of mind - bloodwork, prostate, kidneys, heart, etc. I don't really want my hormone levels checked because that would set off an alarm. He'd probably put me on HRT or hop me up on some pharm grade HCG and clomid. But I would consider trying to convince him that I want them checked as well.

I'm debating telling him the truth. I'm concerned about insurance. I might give him a hypothetical situation before coming out with my gear use.

I don't want to have an issue when I'm 55 and get denied coverage because on my record it said I used AAS in my late 20's.

Regardless, I'm open on ways to approach this situation.

Fellas, what have been your experiences with docs given your AAS use and situation?

Use www.directlabs.com This will get you all the info you need about your hormones and let you doc check you other stuff. The he feels good and you are safe from any blow back from doing gear.

Don't tell your Dr. (Unless you are having related problems). It could end up in your file and cause trouble later. Push back the check up to when you have been clean for awhile.

Curious. Why are you taking letro/dostinex?

If you say "can we keep this off the record" and he says "yes" he needs to respect that Patient-Doctor confidentiality. How well do you know your doc? My primary has been my primary since I was 13 and my pediatrician kicked me out of his practice for being too big and having a pair of tits. I can go in there and he is always cool as fuck dude.. He even lost some weight on a diet I gave him and he's always asking me about routines and lectures on supplements.. He doesn't know, yet...but I'm not worried. How well do you know your doc?

Why would you be opposed to him putting you HRT?

Use a private lab, bro.
YOU tell THEM what YOU want. No questions about insurance because it's usually cash only.
PSA is good prostate indicator - bloodwork
Liver panel / Kidney panel /Thyroid/ Full endo; test/ estriadol T2,T3,T4,T5,T6,T7,T8,T9,T237
CBC, etc,
Ask what they offer... then tell them what you want.

Plus you get the added benefit of not having a Dr. give you the digital rectum exam. Which is more like the Fist up the ass exam.

Drink a lake full of water the day before and the day of blood work.

+1

This is what I have done before. If you know what you want checked and know how to read these tests, just go to a private laboratory. That is if you are worried about checking it with your doctor. The only drawback about this is that you will have to pay in full because you weren't referred by your doctor, but thats the price to pay for complete confidentiality. But then again, why wouldn't you want to be put on HRT?

Cool.

Private labs - you mean like Quest? Don't you need a doc to fill out a form?

I've used privatemdlabs.com before. You select the tests you want, pay them and they email you a doctor's order for LabCorp or Quest. You get the test and in a couple of days, they email you the results.

Basically, they are acting as the intermediary Dr. so that you don't have to get yours involved.

Good luck bro. I'm sure you'll be fine.

The old "I took this test booster" or "I tried a legal prohormone" line always works great when you get bloodwork.

Also, you can just hit up a walk in clinic, get the labs req'd, sign a special area when you get the blood taken and they will mail you the results and avoid the inconvenience of a follow up alotgether. (this is regarding hpta stuff other issues obviously you want a follow up)

"Oh, look at me Doc. I'm on steroids."

I wouldn't go to Reference Lab like Quest or LabCorp on your own. They will need a Dr's order (script). Fuck that go to a private lab like privatemdlab.
