I know the picture is bad, but this thing is awesome.

It connects your 'puter to your surround sound/stereo wirelessly. The sound quality is as good as any CD and all you need is an USB port. Set up playlists in Windows Media Player and say b-buy to your CD collection.

The thing is called Lyra Wireless RD900W (made by RCA) and you should be able to get it at any Best Buy or Circuit City.

Best thing I've bought in a long time...

I've been doing this for years.

I have my computer connected with cables now. I can play streaming music or mp3's throughout my house, though it's not wireless, I ran/hid the wires when I remodeled my house.

that's pretty cool. i ran my setup the opposite way.. since i had high quality 4.1 speakers for my comp i got the "Extigy", then hooked that up to my PS2 with optical cable and now i can watch DVDs and play PS2 games in complete surround sound. obviously i can play mp3's directly from my comp, and get real good computer game sound, same goes for downloaded movies. extigy came with a remote too.

I use the same kind of deal from Philips, but it does the video signal too, as an extra RGB monitor with full overlay automation. Have 3 120gig disks with all the divx and xvid movies on them.

I recently got a software based cable descrambler as well, so I can record the shows I like right to xvid, pretty cool.

I've done it before as well, but you have to admit that wireless is cooler.
