Ok, I figured that since I have seen so many people over the past 4 years post so much good stuff, I decided that it is my duty to post this deal that I came across. So, Best Buy always has coupon for their overpriced retail items right? Well, this is a coupon that they did not want to hit the public. Luckily, we have the coupon avaliable to us (I love technology) so I decided to host it and spread the wealth. Here is the background story:
So I got this coupon. It is suppose to be a great deal. The coupon is SUPPOSE to be $90 off Any memory and installation with purchase of a new computer. But with the initial coupon that was released, they did not include that clause, thus making this a VERY valueable coupon to you and I. The Geek Squad charges $29 to install memory. Thus, if you buy memory that is cheaper than $60, then the memory is free right?
Don't worry, I was TOTALLY skeptical too. But, the temptation got the best of me and I went to my local best buy, coupon in hand that I had photocopied from a friend. They are running a special right now, both 512meg DDR PC2700 RAM for notebooks and desktops are on sale for $54.99.
So I get my RAM and head up to the counter. They tell me that with my coupon I have to check out over at the Geek Squad counter. So I head over there. They ring up the RAM, they see the coupon, they charge me the $29 installation fee. Then they SUBTRACT THE COST OF THE RAM AND THE INSTALLATION. The total on my bill was $0.00. The cashier, geek squad guy was surprised too. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Holy crap the coupon works and it works beautifully. So I walk out of Best Buy with a BRAND NEW 512 MEG STICK OF PC2700 RAM FOR MY LAPTOP!!!!
Now I know you guys want proof. Because "if you dont have pics it didn't happen" right?
Well here is the box of RAM that I got (I already took the RAM out)

Here is my receipt of the transaction (most awesome thing I have seen)

And I know you are all waiting for the actual coupon itself.

This coupon is good until September 10th guys, so go to your local best buy and go get your free ram.
I haven't tried to do more than one item at a time yet, I just needed some laptop ram. But I figure if you print out multiple coupons and take them in, there is nothing saying that you can do that, no limit on each order, just an instruction to the cashier to write VOID on the coupon after use. So just print more coupons!!
One of my friends said that they (best buy) made him bring in the computer in order for the coupon to be valid. So he took his desktop and got THREE STICKS OF RAM INSTALLED ABSOLUTELY FREE (512 meg sticks).
So, if the RAM costs less than $60 then it will be totally free. If it costs more than $60, then you would just pay the difference ($29 for installation applies everytime).
You have no idea how good it felt to walk out of Best Buy today with a BRAND NEW stick of RAM and not pay a single cent.
