Well, when Gerhard Schroeder only has 9.5% of the vote there then I think that 9% is huge. I also heard that their power was on the rise. Who knows...?
And neither the commies or the Nazis (and they are hardly that) have control - Christian Democrats have overall control there - a party of the centre.

I'm prior military. Germans assume that I am African and I came here and am living off of the government when in fact I had to start my own business as no one would give me a job. They act this way because I am black (in case you haven't noticed...) not because I am a U.S. citizen. I've been living in Germany for about 2 years (not including my military time.) And, yes, the Arbeitsurlaubnis is a bitch to get. It's actually harder for me to get it than it is for an immigrant to stay in germany and live off of the goverment. What is going on with that?!
dude I think you're taking the Spike Lee stance here - my old German teacher (himself an Irishman) often commented about the number of African immigrants who come to Germany with one word "Bahnhof" - in the building I live in there are 2 African families - none of them work - none of them speak German , as you mention above their apartment is paid for by your (and my) taxes. Not only that but a ridiculous health system as well as cold hard cash. I do not know why it's part of the language but I've NEVER seen racism here in more than 3 years in Germany.
You seem to be understanding me wrong. I am not against reducing the amount of immigrants. I am against RACISM. I have to deal with it EVERY DAY. Did you happen to see the examples I gave you? A large amount of Germans are racist, it's a fact. Even if not through words, through their actions. When I first hooked up with my girlfriend the first thing her grandmother said to her was, "Why with a nigger?" LOL Now she loves me but she was constantly pressured about what people would think of her for having a black person being a member of her family. My girlfriend's father is totally opposite. He only cares about money and welcomed me with open arms. He loves entrepreneurs.
Ummm come down to Munich - plenty of Jews here , I've got Jewish mates - they don't get any shit - in fact some of them feel that the whole guilt over the holocaust thing is ridiculous. There is a Jewish population in the larger cities but Germany is not made up of larger cities. It's made up of small towns and villages. I, personally, have not met or seen one Jewish person in the entire time I have been here. My girlfriend has never met or seen a Jewish person in her life... I know the thing about Hitler is ridiculous... that is the point of my statement.
