He has made some blunders in his Afganistan reporting that has made him the laughing stock of the free world. Most noteably when he was giving a "report" at a bombing site and he suddenly threw himself on the ground when a couple of birds (the animal variety) flew over. Then when he was exposed in outright lying by the Baltimore Sun for stating he was at the scene where three American soldiers lost their lives MINUTES AGO due to errant bombing by the U.S.. He claimed he was standing on the same ground they were on when they died and he got choked up when he said the Lord's Prayer. Come to find out, he was no where near the scene, he was hundreds of miles away in the mountains of Toro Bora. He later retracted his claim, saying it was an honest mistake, that he was there a couple of hours later. then he was contradicting himself again saying he was there two days later when he was filmed on TV. Baltimore Sun pointed out that geographically he was lying because the terrain in the film was nothing like the one where the errant bomb fell. Geraldo now has retracted the entire news reel.
God, some people just don't learn do they? What a fucking disgrace and glory hound he is trying to milk our soldiers deaths for his own media gain. And lying about it on top.
