I do not spend nearly enough time on the boards. I have my consultations, managing the development of the site, and working on improvements to the Platinum Program.

Like the new Platinum Copy feature, we're working on other ways to give you guys more mod like ability.

A new idea is Platinum Owned or POwned that we will probably implement.

If 5 of you guys give a non-Platinum member negative karma in a 24 hour period, the non-Platinum member's posts will all turn black and be unreadable.

For example, a jerk comes on here and source posts, but it takes a while for the mods to ban him. If five of you hit him up with negative karma, the postings that he made all turn black -- ie you Owned him.

that sounds pretty sweet... especially if the post turns black with a big red PWNED! also cause it is not like when a mod edits, it would be an example set and people would know it was cause members disapproved...

I think a "Link" would be a better thing than a copy. The issue i have with copy is that it copies the thread as it is and then it has two separater branches of responses. A link would allow all responses to be seen by all the links of the thread.

Not really a MOVE as I wouldn't want it to be removed from the other board. Just that more than one board sees the SAME thread. The way it works now it that by copying an active thread, then you only have the same info at the point of the copy and then different information from that point on. If you had a thread that is linked to multiple boards, then each board would see the same thread and the responses to that thread.

Plus you have an audit trail right? If someone is abusing their thread tools, they can have the power stripped. I am sure you are on top of all that. I like the copy tool. It is good, thanks.
