Well. With the addition of style and grooming board, clubs and partying, and elite between the sheets, this board seems to be softening up a bit. A good comparison would be the gradual change in muscle media magazine. It used to be a hardcore mag with no filler bullshit. Now look at it today. Just seems like alot of unnecessary topics. So in turn it attracts more of mainstream society. People that have no interest in working out will appear on this board. So that's how I can say it's turning mainstream. Unless of course you call bodybuilders mainstream...
I agree that what happened to Muscle Media was terrible. But the key difference with us and them is that they REPLACED their hardcore content with fluff.
We have not replaced anything. Instead, we have added to the hardcore content with more content -- including more hardcore content.
My goal is for Elite Fitness to be more than just a steroid site.
Elite Fitness has always been a destination for people who want to live outside of the American Medical Associations definition of good health for the "Average American."
No one here wants to be average. We want to be above average in every sense of the word. We do not aspire to have the level of health of the "Average American" we want to be healthier than the "Average American!" I know I for one want optimal health, not average health and I am willing to look at all the alternative means available to achieve it.
If you believe in this site, and in the Elite Fitness lifestyle, then you know what I am talking about. And if you ascribe to the Elite Fitness lifestyle, then you want to be better than average too.
I created this site so we could discuss ways to be better than average. We want more muscles, less fat, better health, more energy, etc. People who live the Elite Fitness lifestyle want sexual fitness, increased privacy, and better appearance too. And we also want to have fun with people who are like us.
I hope you will give the new boards a chance.
