in a serious relationship with a woman who has a child or children but they aren't yours? Did you wind up marrying them, and what is/was it like? This question can go to women who dated guys with children too. Pros and Cons?

No experience, but I would Imagine with all the Issues that would come along with marrying into a family, she and the kids would have to be 120% near perfect before I would consider it..

Yes and I married her. Not sure how to answer your question about what it is like.

The only thing out of the ordinary was the dating part. Most of the dates were family oriented - like the park and stuff. If the child is young enough he/she will see you as daddy.

But don't get involved if this isn't what you want. It can be very hard on the child.

no shitting, How old was the kid? was this the one who was coke addict and you spent thousands for her rehab? was it a boy or a girl?

My X wifes son was 8 when I met her and he was all cool untill I tried to explain to him that he was going about this or that all wrong. As he grew up and needed disapline, if it came from me it was too harsh and his mom would "let him off"

We didnt make it.

My last girl friend had 3 boys. I barely ever saw them cuz they were with their dad when I was with her. But what I did see of them I could not handle and we broke up.

I would still go out with a woman with kids, but if I cant take the kids I wont continue to date the mom.
