Genetics

I'm not mad but I thought that was the whole point of the articel: most can't be pro's and need a reality check. What would be the point of admiting to yourself you'll never be a pro only to keep trying to be one? It's a contradiction. I just don't think it's as straight cut as all that. I just don't. I think the largest factor is body structure but other than that I don't think it's all that conclusive. I'm not saying everyone can be a pro. I think genetics play a role in determining who would ever have the drive to push themselves to it but I think to put the pros on a pedestal of superiority like that is ridiculous. It's a self-defeatest attitude and from one of the biggest pessimists on the planet you won't hear me say that very often but I think it's true. There are too many factors hare and a large part of genetics is natural hormonal output which no longer becomes relelvant since we tweek that part of it. I'm not mad I just don't like the idea of telling someone they can't when they are just going to convince themselves they can anyways and that they have genetics because they will lookm for their good aspects. No one is perfect but some do have it a bit better in this sport than others. Does that rule you completely out of the running, not in my opinoin. Sorry.

some people just

have a way better base. Genetics also plays a role in how big you look as opposed to how big you really are.

Some people look big thanx to muscle shape, length, etc other are just bigger and stronger.

A guy with the right bodybuilding genetics can have a 17 inch arm that looks 19, where a guy with poor genetics can have a 18 inch are that doesn't look more than 17.

again I agree with you 100%! i would never tell someone they can't do it. you are not reading what i am saying! I AM SAYING, THE PEOPLE THAT WALK AROUND THE GYM WITH THERE ARMS OUT AND CHEST OUT AND HAVE BEEN LIFTING FOR 10 YEARS THAT LOOK LIKE THEY NEVER TOUCHED A WEIGHT IN THERE LIFE NEED TO CHECK THEMSELVES.

i guess this article has a point to the few people on this board who are trying to be pros, but i don't think most people are shooting for that.

very good point

below average genetics here

Agreed with almighty. I think I am in the medium genetics category, endomorphic, like the almighty ... but with a smaller bone structure than most endomorphs.

My training partner (both) certainly have the genetics to compete. Especially my gf's brother. Although his diet sucks and he often eats shit, low protein and infrquently training and low intensity, he still has impressive strength that rivals mine even at the end of a dbol/test/fina cycle that gave me 48 lbs

sorry to tell you this, but if your waiste is wider then your shoulders then no matter how much money you spend on gear or how hard you try you will always look like a lop of shit, now you can move up in ranks and defintly improve, but there is only so far you can go, you frame will always hold you back
