Okay so my first cycle was basic and was test/dbol.
I gained about 35 pounds.
Lost about 10pounds.

So does your gains depend on your
Genetics/diet/training?
Was 35 pounds with 25 pounds kept for a first cycle good?

theres a few thing....diet/training/water weight and genetics do play a role..but the idea is youre cheating genetics somewhat with hormones. Things like bone structure you're not getting around but you look like you have a good natural shape to work with
25 lbs at the end of the day isn't bad at all

if you hold on to that I would call it mission accomplished and damn good indeed..
don't get obsessed with the scale..its an alarming trend
how do you look? how do you feel? these are more important than what the scale says
 
Depends how long ago you finished pct ? Sounds like a good accomplishment tho! You enjoy the cycle ?

First cycle was great, could have used work on my pct but other then that good.
Thinkin about keeping a log for my next cycle, dylan set me up with a bad ass cycle! I start it August. Can't wait, I'm well prepared!

you are only 23 so i guarantee you that you can eat trashier now than you can at 33 and get away with it. i remember in high school i would go out to eat for lunch and it would always be fast food.. what else can a guy eat who makes 5.20 an hour anyway? in college same thing.. i would rush to school from work, grab a pizza or whatever shitty fast food they had at the food court and go to class.

now i spend about 1K on food a month and thats not an exxageration. don't think that you can continue to eat bad and still mantain a 6 pack as you approach 30, not gonna happen at all unless maybe you work in a blue collar field and you are sweating and moving all day.

also yes training is gonna be different because your recovery will be faster... thats why older dudes like me juice to get an edge..
 
The other thing no one touched on. One of the reasons why you gained so much was for one it was because at 5'9" you were under weight when you started. You say you gained 35lbs and kept 25lbs and now weigh 180. So that means you weighed 160 at the start and finished at 195. I did the same thing. I'm 5'6" and did my first cycle at 145 and finished at 165 and lost 7lbs. Before starting my second cycle I had got myself to 165 naturally with no supps besides a protein shake post workout. I caught a lot of shit for "not being at my genetic potential" before starting my cycle. If you were to run the exact same cycle again With the exact same diet and routine I highly doubt you'd gain that much again. That's JMO and I'm not trying to be a dick just throwing out my 2cents.
 
You did well bro. The first cycle is always the best. The dramatic growth, the stretch marks, the feeling of invincibilty... Your next cycles will also be great, just don't expect the same dramatic results. 5-10 pds kept aftercycle are excellent results from here on out my friend.
 
Never touched gear if thats wat u call the stuff yous discuss i simply hav good genetics an eggs milk n cheese an a big tyre,apart from the big tyre everythin is ed but the tyre is eod,im 155lbs solid

You are still young enough to make great gains in size & strength w/ out roids. I encourage you to try it. Also try a powerlifting program-it will solidify the gains. Best of success.
