Generic limit

A lot is talked about on here about your Generic limit. Take an average guy of 5'10" what would his generic limit be roughly? I know everybody is different but there must be an average weight your not going to go past at that height.

Georgie nailed it...I know guys who are natural and over 210 with low BF that are 5' 10"....the two guys I am thinking of also have large legs naturally and with training they are tree trunks. I think it really depends on your body type and even bone structure. Guys with wide shoulders can build impressive backs with size and thickness naturally. Lots of variables.

I ASSUME YOU MEAN GENETIC. TO GET AN IDEA, YOU NEED TO RUN A BATTERY OF BLOOD TESTS THAT I HAVE BEEN RECOMMENDING FOR ABOUT A YEAR. ALSO, NEED TO DETERMINE WEIGHT GAIN/LOSS HISTORY. ALSO, IS THE SUBJECT AN ENDOMORPH, MESOMORPH OR ECTOMORPH? HEIGHT AND WEIGHT ARE GOOD FOR DETECTING DISEASE STATES, BUT USELESS FOR THE ATHLETE.
 
Yeh Bro I was just cuious because its said wait till you reach you genetic limit before juicing. But who knows what theyre limit is and everyones different. Are you not putting on because your not eating enough or is it because youve reached your limit. I know theres so many variables but I was just wondering if there was an rough average.
 
5'10"? i'd say 190 is way too low- i think many bros are capable of 220 quite comfortably at that height and natty. i'd say u'd have to be a hard gainer if 190 is ur genetic limit at 5'10". JMO
 
when you stop growing naturally, and have tried every training approach and supplement, and your training and nutrition is sound, then you have probably reached your genetic limit

how fast do you reach your genetic limit?

I think genetic limit for 5'10 is around 200 @ 7 percent bf, or something close to that.
 
an "average" gentic limit is imposible to figure as have been mentioned... as is how fast you reach it.

Example:

my buddy- was 5'5-5'6 at about 170lb's and 10% body fat at age 22 with 4 years of good training

Me- 5'7 145-15% body fat at 22, 2 years heavy training

Honestly I will not reach his size in the same amount of time for a number of reasons, all mostly having to do with genetics. His training is slightly better, but I feel my diet is better (except when he dieted down to 10% he doesnt pay much attention)

Personally I will not turn to 'roids until I have 4-5 years of good eating/training (already gone up 30lbs in 2 years) allthough I already see my progress has severly slowed.
 
so why do you want to train for 3 more years to gain 10 lbs.?

Honestly I do think i reached mine. I was 6' and a little over 200. I got a job at a bar as a bouncer checking ID's and was th smallest guy and wanted to get bigger quick and some of my co-workers helped me out with that. My diet was no where near high nough in protein but I did train pretty religiously.
 
It took me around 7-8 years to reach mine, and another 2 years of not growing to know for sure that I wasnt getting any bigger without juice
 
I'm 5' 8" and trained for almost 10years, the heaviest I ever was, is 192lbs. I started to cycle 3 years ago and now I'm 240.
