I currently am playing Crysis 2 like no other...Dead Space 2 is good...COD is boring as fuck. I got the new mortal kombat, back to being petty damn sick with fatalities

More along the lines of hiding in the dark in general. For example having to find your way to a room while something is chasing you, do you A leave your lantern on so you can find it easier and risk being spotted and possibly killed, or B leave it off but struggle to find the room, slowly losing your sanity. And once you do make it to the room the physics engine allows you to move items in real time to barricade the door shut. Your weapons are whatever you find in the environment, but some of them have to be pieced together like making a homemade bomb for example. All simple but highly effective ways of building tension when it feels like you're actually doing things vs following button prompts.
Well I just got Darkriders, which is a button pusher like God of War series. Ok, so far. Just mind rot. Nothing special.
They didn't have Halo 3 or Dead Space 2 at Gamestop in the preowned section. Will wait for Bad Company 3 to come out. I liked BC2.

Amnesia, for as basic as the game design is, is one of the best, if not THE best "Atmospheric Horror" game ever produced.
Another awesome (yet little known horror game) was the original "D" for the Sega Saturn. This was another one to play in total darkness with headphones.
