Can one of the resident experts explain a little about drug testing for AS.
Is there one comprehensive test to check for all different types or must it be a multipart test.
In other words when checking for AS use are they checking for the obscure stuff like Tren or are they
just checking for Test and derivatives? Also, I understand that this testing is relatively expensive - does anyone have a rough guess on the cost per individual to run a complete workup? Thanks in advance for any info!

If they test for AS, they'll test for ALL steroids.

If testing

..is done by GC/MS(which it should be), they can check for any peaks that elute from the sample. They will then compare the fingerprint specta in the sample against known reference spectra for said compounds. This will generate a % match based on the references. THis way, they do not have to run a standard of each compound. They get it all in one sweep.

Not quite. Some are not in the database as of yet, and some leave the body too quickly to be tested.
