Gear on airplanes???

I have not flown in about 5 years. However my dad flies frequently and says he has been patted down and searched alot in the past year. Going on his advice, I would not...(then again it may depend on how long I was going to be gone for )

what you can do is send your gear with your extras in a express mail package to the hotel your staying at and call the hotel in advance. It's better then getting caught with it on a plane.

I travel every week for my job. The orals are no problem - I have a big pills tray that I take with me that has mostly vitamins and other legal supps and I just mix in my orals into one of the bins in the tray.

For injectables, I preload my syringes and made up some lables that say B-12 Rx on File Dr. Conway. I then put these in my toiletries bag and - this is important - always check that bag. Never carry it on. When they screen checked bags they are concerned with safety of the passengers and are looking for things like bombs. They have to check thousands of bags a day. They are not going to hold up a flight to see what is really in your syringes. A lot of patients do self injections, so they probably see this from time to time.

I have never had a problem even when I know they went through my bag for a random search.

Keep in mind that this only applies to domestic flights. I would not do this on international flights. Not sure how the pros transport their gear when they go to internaitonal shows.

sweet idea on the orals......what about liquid dex or liquid clomid???? how do u guys do it with liquid prodcuts??????

Again, this is only for domestic flights, but I don't even worry about liquid ancillaries. I just throw them in the my toiletries bag and bring them all with me. Never had anyone questions anything ever. And I carry them on. The TSA guys are not going to look twice at this stuff. If its not a controlled substance I would not worry about it. That's just me though, if your ass is in jail for this, don't call.

I can tell you this much. Be very careful. Since 911 they're not playing. I had to take a flight to FL recently. First they randomly select people getting on the flight to search. And I happened to be one of them, it was like simon says. Stand up, sit down, lift your arms, turn around. Take off your shoes, lift your feet. It was crazy. And when I had to pick up baggage, I know they had been through it because alot of my stuff had been moved around than what normally would've been.

The orals you can get away with by putting in a pill case and carrying it on with you or putting it in your checked in baggage. I wouldn't however put orals like pink thais in plain view because most people that have a smidget knowledge of anabolics.......the steroid they recognize most are the pink thais.....IMO. As far as injectables go, you could empty the amps or vials into something else less suspicious. That will hold the liquid AS. I'm not going to say what, but use your imagination. There are a bunch of things that can pass as normal looking containers.

Hate to say it but i wouldn't do it.My old lady had taraxatone (water pills) and exanadrine in a baggy in her suit case and because they were not in their original bottle we were detained for over an hour. every thing we had was searched This took place in pa.Almost missed our flight.

I fly quite frequently and now at the airports, they go through your bags by hand when you go to check in. Also, if you get by the check in be prepared because they may random you again. They may also wand you and pat you down. So if you are going to take it, you better find some way to hide it. It used to be so simple, but not anymore. Bam

Maybe right after 9/11 you might have been questioned, and I stress MIGHT, but nowadays, most of the TSA don't really like their jobs, and certainly don't and shouldn't care about the little pink pills you have in your bag.

If they catch the syringes in your carry-on, however, it better be for good reason.

You're not going to take over an airplane with a vial of TEST, don't sweat it.

You put too much faith in the ability of the TSA.

anyone that tries to take gear /syringes on an airplane is A FUCKING IDIOT. Seriously, this has to be a joke. Ship it priority mail to your destination before you leave. Shit, thats what i did w/ my freakin NOLVADEX for godsakes.

I get patted down every time I go thru the airport. They wanded me and got to my belt. The security guard was like SIR, SIR WHAT IS THIS SIR. I said "gee I think its my belt buckle". LOL.

I'm serious. I watched 5 arabs walked by unscathed. Nope, gotta detain the mid-twenties preppy white boy, he might be al queda- with steeeeeroids.

I travel frequently for work and fun. If you are hypogonadal and you have a rx and you have a bottle of test & syringes you should be fine. I always have been.
